New for Summer 2023

We are so excited to launch our new Woodland Walk!  

Park in our enclosed carpark, entering our  fenced walkway.  Take a 5 minute walk along an enclosed grass walkway, 300m later you'll find a gate into our fully fenced private woodland.  

Your dogs can run and sniff amongst the trees, while you relax in the knowledge you won't come across any other people or dogs.  There are water bowls and poo bins at convenient locations along your walk.  The woodland provides the most wonderful respite from weather extremes, feeling much cooler in the summer heat and more sheltered in wet weather.

Where is the woodland?  It is located on our farm on the east side of the A1(M) off the B1043.  Near to Field 2, you will see signs for the dedicated carpark from the end of our driveway next to the Field 2 entrance. 

Mind your step!  This is a natural terrain and habitat, with undergrowth, twigs, stumps, leaves, birds etc .  All of the fencing within the woodland is 6ft high and has holes of just 5cm x 10cm.  Obviously being a woodland, it isn't suitable for wheelchairs, although there is a flat grass area along one side of it.   There is a 5-10 min walk to reach the woodland along a grass track.   If you have mobility issues, Field 2 will probably suit your needs more.

We are very happy for you to picnic in the Woodland, but strictly NO BBQs or glass and ask that ALL litter is taken home with you.  Being careful to leave no food behind.  Please do not smoke in any of our Dog Fields or Woodland.

Please do not try and climb any of the trees, fences or gates.  Any obstacles are there for your dogs enrichment and not for humans to climb on.

Remember it will take you up to ten minutes to walk back to your car, so be mindful of your time slot.  Please do not keep our next guests waiting.  You may find it a good idea to set a timer or alarm on your phone or watch, time flies when you're having fun!
